OUR MISSION

 The Curwensville Regional Development Corporation (CRDC) is committed to economic development, housing and job creation through the many natural resource features that provides opportunities for residents and visitors to reside, work and recreate in the region. CRDC collaborates with local leaders and businesses to advance regional planning and development.

OUR FORMATION

 The Curwensville Regional Development Corporation was formed as a non-profit entity in 1933 and formally Incorporated in early 1958. In 2015 the Curwensville Development Corporation joined with members of the Blueprint Communities and changed their name to Curwensville Regional Development Corporation and expanded its target area to include Curwensville and Grampian Boroughs, Penn, Pike and Bloom Townships.

OUR TOWN

  Curwensville is a small town located in Clearfield County nestled among the Allegheny Mountains and along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. It is about 20 minutes from I-80. We have numerous outdoor activities available such as hunting wild turkey, whitetail deer, bear, and coyote; water skiing, fishing, picnicking, and boating at the Curwensville Lake; kayaking, fishing and canoeing on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River; bicycling and hiking the Rails to Trails located between Grampian and Clearfield and special festivals and events in nearby communities to enjoy. Our town has a variety of small businesses including family owned hardware stores, grocery store, tea house, florists, antiques, and many delicious restaurants.

        BOARD MEETINGS are held the 3rd Wednesday of every ODD numbered month. Committee meetings are held as needed.
